A must for nature lovers

Two authors of the outstanding wildlife photographic book, Anup and Manoj Shah, were influenced by the surroundings they grew up in in Kenya.

Two authors of the outstanding wildlife photographic book, Anup and Manoj Shah, were influenced by the surroundings they grew up in in Kenya.

It is no surprise that the photographers have won multiple awards and that their works have been published in BBC Wildlife and National Geographic.

The Great Rift Valley of East Africa is the title of the book and has beautiful landscapes of Kenya and Tanzania and its beautiful animals of the forest and deserts. The aerial view of an extinct volcano on the rift valley floor is pictured and shows that the volcano once erupted there.

When you look at the mountain gorillas you wonder how close and how long it had taken the photographer to take such an image.

You can see all the details on the face of the gorilla, the brown sparkly eyes, the flat nose and the way the gorilla is looking straight to the lens.

No wonder both photographers are award-winning wildlife photographers. Another amazing picture is of a chimpanzee with its two-day-old baby chimp, a picture of a mother and her new-born baby cuddling together protecting the baby from the world outside. A few hundred termites seen being eaten by a chimp on a tree trunk.

Looking at the landscapes and animals from the book one falls in love with nature. This is a must have for those who love nature.
