You can always tell when a story gets very big by the number of reports that get written about it.

So far the story about xenophobia in South Africa has hit more than a 1000 articles.

Let's just say that the international community knows about our hatred for foreigners.

This means that foreigners will have serious reservations about coming to South Africa in 2010.

I mean, why would tourists come here? They are foreigners after all and South Africans hate foreigners, don't they? They set them on fire and drag them out of the places they live in.

Who wants to come and experience that?

Why not stay at home and watch soccer on TV, where it is safe?

Congratulations to the xenophobic dunderheads for putting a big question mark over the 2010 World Cup.

You probably cost us lots of foreign exchange, not to mention jobs and good publicity.

Bet you didn't think of that before you decided you couldn't live with your neighbours.
