Multiple award-winning promoter Branco Milenkovic, pictured, has not taken a back seat since last month's success in staging the IBF junior lightweight fight between newly crowned champion Cassius Baloyi and Mzonke Fana.

He is, in fact, pushing harder to establish his Branco Sports Productions (BSP) in the global fold. Milenkovic announced last week that he had secured two championship fights for his fighters.

National and WBC Inter flyweight champion Moruti Mthalane (rated 10 by the WBC, IBF, WBA and WBO) will challenge Australian sensation Hussein Hussein for the IBF mandatory status.

Milenkovic revealed that Hussein had also signed exclusive promotional rights with BSP. He followed in the footsteps of Australian Gary St Clair and Mexican legend Manuel Medina, who have since become members of the BSP.

This busy promoter, who was presented with a WBC plaque last month for being the busiest WBC registered promoter in the world, also confirmed that former Olympian Jeffrey Mathebula (rated 7 by the IBF) will oppose Mexican Julio Zarate (ranked 3) for the IBF junior featherweight mandatory rights.

Milenkovic, who has won the promoter of year award three times, added that his company's busy schedule will kick off on May 30 at the Carousel resort in Hammanskraal.

He will stage a national double header. SA mini-flyweight champion Jonas Kgasago will defend against mandatory challenger Gideon Buthelezi, while Peter Mashamaite and Khaphathe Mphambanyeni will fight for the vacant middleweight belt.

That crown was abdicated by Khotso Motau before he moved up to the super middleweight class. Then on June 12 in Bangkok, Vus'Umzui Malinga will fight Veeraphol Sahapromin for the WBC bantamweight mandatory rights.

Three weeks later (July 5 at a venue still to be announced) Ali Funeka (rated 5 by the IBF) will fight highly rated Zahir Raheem.

This American is best known for defeating multiple world champion Erik "El Terrible" Morales. Then on August 29 the much anticipated IBF mandatory junior lightweight clash between Malcolm Klassen and Medina will take place. The winner will challenge Cassius Baloyi.

Milenkovic said he hoped to reach an agreement with his Mexican associate to stage the IBF mandatory junior featherweight champion between Mathebula and Zarate, with the winner earning the right to challenge champion Steve Molitor with whom BSP has a close relationship.
