The South African women's Under-17 national team will take on Cameroon tomorrow, in the second leg of their World Cup qualifying match.

Makgarebe, as the girls are known, go into this match trailing by two goals, after being beaten 2-0 by Cameroon in Yaounde earlier this month.

"They lost concentration and were intimidated on the big stage in the first match. I think they were also a bit frightened of the imposing size of the Cameroonians," Fran Hilton-Smith, director of women's football, said.

"But the main problem was that the preliminary games were all cancelled, making this the first match the girls have played.

"Now they are well prepared."
