Young people and school children in Limpopo should pursue skills in agriculture, mining and tourism because they are the three pillars of the South African economy.

This was said by the ANC provincial secretary Cassel Mathale during a business networking meeting held at Guest Minor in Polokwane yesterday.

Mathale said people who graduate in the three fields are often easily employable. They also help to fight poverty in their communities.

Mathale also urged local businessmen to help young people to advance their careers in education and business.

Mathale's words come after a plea by the ANC Youth League in the province for funding from local business people.
