lPerform basic arithmetical operations;

lWork with relationships between arithmetical operations;

lWork with simple formulae, including formulae for perimeter, area and volume, speed and time;

lEstimate and check estimates against different numbers-related situations;

lWork with and apply the concepts including ratio or proportion, and percentage and rate;

lDetermine input and output values for formulae (or simply put, solve equations);

lDetermine and plot the points for different graphs;

lInterpret information and trends communicated through graphs;

lMeasure lengths, distances, volumes and mass (or weight);

lConvert between units of measurement;

lDraw and interpret scale drawings;

lUse grids, scales and maps;

lOrganise data using tallies and tables;

lSummarise data using the measures including mean, median and mode; and

lRepresent data using various data graphs, including pie charts, histograms and bar graphs.
