Ajax Cape Town travelled to Cameroon yesterday for their Confederation Cup match against Mount Cameroon without some of their key players whom they had spared for their crunch Absa Premiership match against Santos on Thursday.

The Urban Warriors tackle Mount Cameroon in a second round, second leg encounter at Yaounde Stadium at 3.30pm on Sunday.

Ajax walloped the hapless Cameroonian side 5-1 in the first leg at Athlone Stadium on April 26 and they have the ability to beat them in their own backyard.

Craig Rosslee's enterprising charges produced a spirited all-round team performance that saw Nathan Paulse and Mkhanyiseli Siwahla scoring two goals apiece.

The other strike came from Russell Mwafulirwa.

Rosslee will once again field a relatively young side.

"Obviously, we are doing everything possible to win the league and we want to compete hard in our remaining two matches and collect the necessary points," Mike Comitis, Ajax's general manager, told Sowetan yesterday.
