The money-spinning Fifa 2010 World Cup is beginning to generate interest among South Africans, many of whom are coming up with noble ideas to celebrate the event.

The money-spinning Fifa 2010 World Cup is beginning to generate interest among South Africans, many of whom are coming up with noble ideas to celebrate the event.

An amateur soccer club in Tshwane, Eldorado United Brothers, have already started with plans to stage a tournament from December 25 to 28.

Registration fee for the tournament, which will be known as Preparations for the 2010 World Cup, is R800, to be accepted until July 31.

The tournament is sponsored to the tune of R20000, with the winners getting R7000, the runners-up R5000.

Clubs edged out in the semifinals will each receive R2700.

There will also be individual cash prizes for the players.
