An ATM was bombed in Dobsonville in the early hours of yesterday morning, the 10th such incident in South Africa in the past week.

Captain Phephi Matlou said the bombing took place at a car parts shop at about 4am.

"An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. There were no injuries and no arrests were made," she said.

Nine other ATM bombings occurred in Gauteng, North West, Eastern Cape and Mpumalanga in the past week, police reported. - Sapa
