Osborne Machimana is a few steps away from making a real impression in the international arena as a heavyweight boxer and ultimately be in line to rake in millions of rands as it is the norm in that weight division.
He currently holds the national title and also boasts a first round knockout win over Corrie Sanders, the former WBU and WBO champion.
But Machimana, who is under the mentorship of Nick Durandt, still remains an enigma in big time boxing.
His victory against Sanders did not send any warnings to the top dogs out there that "Big Daddy" has arrived. The "Sniper", 42, had long lost the passion for the fight game which turned him into being a multimillionaire.
His skills and speed had deteriorated but this left-handed fighter was hanging in there simply because of the fact that boxing is a disease to boxers and they do not want any cure.
