Safa and their Lesotho counterparts will meet in Bloemfontein on May 15 to finalise Likoena's 2010 World Cup qualifier against Ghana at Seisa Ramabodu Stadium on June 8.

This was announced yesterday by Safa national executive committee member, Obakeng "Bucks" Molatedi, who leads a task team appointed by the local federation to prepare for the game.

Likoena requested Safa to allow them to use the home of Siwelele for their qualifying matches as Setsoto Stadium is being renovated for the World Cup.

As part of the World Cup legacy projects, Lesotho is refurbishing the Maseru facility with the hope of attracting one country to set up a training camp ahead of the event.

Molatedi said: "We had our first meeting with our brothers from Lesotho three weeks ago to deal with all the logistics around the game. We have decided to rope in Safa Motheo as the game will be played in their own region to help us with the preparations.

"Safa has also asked Lefa (Lesotho Football Association) to give us a list of all the things they may need for the game and the follow-up meeting on May 15 will deal with those.

"I know that they have already appointed a Bloemfontein-based marketing company to assist them in promoting the match.

"We won't be taking over the preparation, the game belongs to Basotho but as Safa we will be there to provide assistance where they need us."

Molatedi added that Lefa would call a media briefing soon after their May 15 meeting to inform the public about the activities on the day of the game. Likoena will this week start with the final preparations for the qualifiers.
