I was so shocked listening to Molefi Oliphant saying that they would accept anyone recommended by Carlos Alberto Parreira.
I think it worked to Safa's benefit that Parreira relinquished his duties as the head of our national team, and wasn't fired, as he had a contract running until 2010, which was going to work to our disadvantage.
Fellow South Africans, what happened to the "Proudly South African" slogan? We got the likes of Ephraim "Jomo" Sono and Shakes Mashaba, to mention but two.
