According to Derrick Motsepe, from Ebony Athletics Club, the organisers of the races, financial constraints forced them to postpone the events.
l The Diepkloof Athletics Club will stage a half-marathon and a 10km race on May 11.
The popular races will start from the University of Johannesburg (Soweto campus) at 7am.
Those who want to register can do so at Sportsmen Warehouse in Southgate.
