Parreira was forced to quit

I am not surprised by the sudden resignation of Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira.

I am not surprised by the sudden resignation of Bafana Bafana coach Carlos Alberto Parreira.

It is clear that Parreira was forced by anti-South Africa forces who want to see our country failing in everything it intends doing.

I suspect that people who continue to doubt our ability to host a successful World Cup are behind this.

How can this guy raise the issue of family commitments just when our squad is starting to gel.

I believe this scenario should be seen in the context of people against our ANC-led government trying to derail any progress in the preparations for the Confederation Cup next year and the 2010 World Cup.

As a solution Safa must stop globetrotting to look for a coach when we have Jomo Sono.

He is the only local coach who will earn respect from bigheaded international players.

Mjomana should not be judged on the performance of his club because the situation there is totally different.

Kaizer Motaung was absolutely right when he asked Safa to appoint Mjomana as a coach.
