Premium wines from the estate find their way to the local and international markets once they have been taken out of the able hands of leading viticulturist Schalk du Toit, whose Sauvignon Blanc carries the torch for the estate.
The estate is expanding to new horizons as a lifestyle property development encompassing 124 holiday homes currently on sale, private nature reserve, olives and lavender farm, hiking and leisure walkways, hotel and spa, restaurant and fishing spot.
Once completed, the estate's residents will enjoy natural surrounds in an animal kingdom cohabited by game such as grey rhebok, duiker, grysbok and other non-predatory species.
The estate is situated on the banks of the Botrivier Lagoon and boasts majestic sights of the Palmiet Mountains a short distant away.

"The Sauvignon Blanc grapes have just been harvested with the Cabernet and Merlot grapes being harvested shortly," he says. "Schalk du Toit, our winemaker, is optimistic about the quality of this year's wines - hopefully there will be many more Veritas awards for the Benguela Cove."
