Andile Ncube will say his final goodbye to Live viewers this Friday. But he says there has been no no fallout between him and his bosses.

"I'm going to miss presenting Live," Ncube says. "It has been a great part of my life and I loved every moment of it. I started it from the bottom and have learnt so much."

Ncube, 25, confirmed yesterday that he has resigned, but refused to give details.

"A statement will be released soon, but I can assure you that I'm not going to a rival TV station or anything," he said.

Ncube, who is loved for giving priority to and promoting local music, shot to fame as presenter of the 9-10pm music show called One in 2005. The show was revamped and renamed Live early last year, with Ncube as its producer.

Until a few months ago he presented the show on his own before being joined by co-presenter Bonang Matheba.

"From the day I started doing the show, my vision has been to focus on local music, which I'm passionate about," he says.

At present Ncube hosts a breakfast show on the Eastern Cape radio station CKI FM.
