DESPITE the deteriorating economic outlook, South African fund managers are not expecting a recession, a Merrill Lynch Fund Survey for the country has found. The majority of managers also expect inflation to lower in 12-months, but with less conviction. A net 50percent of managers, however, think that the country's economic situation will worsen over the next 12 months.
