Jamyang Kyi, an announcer at a state-run television station in Qinghai, a western province bordering Tibet, was escorted from her office on April 1 by plain- clothes policemen in Xining, her colleagues and friends said.

Her husband, Lamao Jia, said he was worried because he has had no word from her for more than a week. - Reuters
