Inspector Kay Makhubele said two men aged 19 and 36 robbed the woman of her bag and cellphone in Zondi on Tuesday.
They stabbed her twice in the back.
She was treated for her wounds and was back home yesterday.
Police saw the robbery and arrested the suspects immediately.
