Cellphone operator Cell C yesterday reported an operating profit of R321million for the year ended December 2007 after an operating loss of R349million in 2006. The company said revenue increased 17percent in 2007. Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Hedberg said the company's turnaround strategy produced positive results. "During the financial year which ended on December 31 2007, we connected over 3,5million prepaid subscribers and 177000 post-paid subscribers.
