A 50-year-old Free State bricklayer who raped and threatened three children with an axe has been sentenced to three life sentences.
Mosiuoa Selebano, of Phomolong near Hennenman, outside Bloemfontein, raped the children aged 11, 12 and 15 on the same day.
Thabong police spokesman Sergeant Malebo Khosana said Selebano lured the three children on January 20 and asked them to buy bread for him at a nearby shop. - Sibongile Mashaba
