'God has a plan about all of us'

The commonly held notion among the Christian community that anointment was the sole right of kings, queens and church ministers is a fallacy, Pastor Emmanuel Thabang Fenyane of Praise Him Bible Church in Daveyton, Ekurhuleni, told members of his church yesterday.

The commonly held notion among the Christian community that anointment was the sole right of kings, queens and church ministers is a fallacy, Pastor Emmanuel Thabang Fenyane of Praise Him Bible Church in Daveyton, Ekurhuleni, told members of his church yesterday.

Delivering his sermon under the theme "The Revealed Plan of God", and reading from Colossians 1: 26-27, Fenyane said that when God first created the earth, he had a plan for all of his children.

"God had this plan but it was a mystery to some except to the person He had intended it for. It was a plan long conceived, even before you were born. God's plan about you will remain inactive until you give your life to Him and you are a born-again Christian.

"This God-given plan is yours once Jesus dwells in you," Fenyane said.

"If you've accepted Jesus as your saviour, then you have accepted his anointment, which was only reserved for kings, queens and priests." - Dan Fuphe
