Determined Lamontville Golden Arrows once more showed consistency by beating tame Thanda Royal Zulu 3-1 in an Absa Premiership match at King Zwelithini stadium on Saturday.

But Royal coach Roger Palmgren says his team is not going down despite the loss.

"There's no need for us or our supporters to start pushing panic buttons," Palmgren said. " We are not relegation-threatened as some reporters suggest, and I don't see any reason why we should worry if there are three teams below us."

His team fell victim to a brace by Abia Nale and a goal by Muricio Pequinino in Saturday's loss.

Amabhubesi's consolation goal was scored by Serge Diejoua.

The exciting match started at a blistering pace, with the home team making Royal's half their own turf. It was not surprising when Mozambican forward Pequinino opened the scoring with a well taken close-range shot after Bafana Bafana midfielder Kagiso Dikgacoi set him up.

Nale put his name on the score sheet with a classical finish as he chipped keeper Arni Arason in the 24th minute to make it 2-0 at the interval.

Nale completed his brace with a well taken shot in the second half. Djiehoua, a second half substitute, decreased the deficit with a header.
