After leading Mpumalanga Black Aces into the quarterfinals of the Nedbank Cup, coach Kenny Ndlazi and assistant coach Dumisa Ngobe now fancy an outside chance of a spot in the promotional playoffs.

Amazayoni meet FC AK in their final match of the National First Division Inland Stream set for Ackerville Stadium on Sunday.

With Bahumi having secured a spot in the NFD final after beating Garankuwa United 3-1 to win the Inland Stream, the game against Aces is merely academic, while for Amazayoni it is a do or die encounter.

Aces, who are placed in fifth position with 27 points, progress to the playoffs banking on the outcome of the African Warriors, Winnerspark and Dynamos results. All three teams are tied on 28 points.

"The spirit is very high in the camp and all the boys are looking forward to face FC AK. We know it's not going to be an easy game but we are prepared for them," said Ngobe.
