An array of South African sports and political leaders arrive in London today to attend the Soccerex London Forum.

The expo takes place at Wembley Stadium and is expected to attract more than 800 influential soccer and business leaders from 50 countries around the world.

Sports leaders in England include the 2010 World Cup Local Organising Committee chief executive Danny Jordaan and Platinum Stars chairman George Khunou.

Khunou is also managing director of Royal Bafokeng Sports Holdings, who will also have a stand to sell Phokeng to the world.

The Bafokeng nation's facility, Royal Bafokeng Sports Place in Phokeng, will also host the 2009 Confederations Cup and the World Cup.

Politicians include Gauteng Premier Mbhazima Shilowa, who will deliver the opening address at the one-day event.

Shilowa is accompanied by Barbara Creecy, Gauteng MEC for sports, culture, recreation and arts, and Paul Mashatile, Gauteng MEC for finance and economic affairs.

Gauteng is one of the major roleplayers of the Soccerex, an event they have hosted since last year to showcase South Africa's readiness for the 2010 World Cup.
