The ANC-led government has dismally failed South Africa and Africa since 1994.

While we accept that it has liberated South Africa, the ANC has failed to liberate South Africans in economical terms.

The majority of our people still live in abject poverty despite the ANC blowing its own trumpet about the way the economy is booming.

The Alliance of Free Democrats (AFD) argue that political freedom is useless without economic benefits. While the ANC has successfully created a small elite group, many South Africans are deprived of their constitutional right to adequate housing, the right to land, the right to food and so on.

Food prices have increased drastically, making life difficult for ordinary people.

Not only has the ANC failed to execute effective and efficient domestic policies, it has also failed Africa with its foreign policies.

The government has failed both the SADC and Zimbabwe with its quiet diplomacy. When Zimbabweans cried out about how their human rights were being violated by Robert Mugabe's government, the ANC-led government kept saying that "Zimbambweans should sort out their own problems".

The ANC's claim of creating a better life for all is not true. Unlike other parties, the AFD believes in honesty, integrity and service delivery.
