I am deeply disappointed by his continuous attack on Jacob Zuma. He uses every platform he he can to attack the ANC president and newly elected NEC.
He should stop saying that Zuma is not a credible leader and that many people are anxious about his leadership. Msholozi is not a flawed leader.
I am not surprised at Pityana's behaviour because he represents the views of the 1996 Class Project, the main aim of which was to discredit our leaders.
When Zuma speaks he does not represent his own views, but those of the ANC. Pityana, as a product of the struggle, should know the ANC belongs to all its members, not a few individuals.
He should focus on academia or join an opposition party of his choice.
He clearly does not belong to our revolutionary movement. He should focus on building a better Unisa without racism and produce graduates of greater quality.
I respect his freedom of speech but feel that he is careless and reckless in his keynote speeches.
People such as Pityana must be inducted on how cadres in positions of influence should behave.
As a disciplined ANC and alliance member I support the new office bearers and the entire NEC. The ANC does not belong to Pityana and his academic friends.
