In a continuing major shake-up of SABC radio stations DJ line-ups, e.tv Morning Edition anchor Nothemba Madumo has joined Metro FM.

The station has also hired hip-hop artist Proverb to take care of the graveyard slot on the national English medium station. The slot is from midnight to 3am.

In addition, station music compiler and house DJ Fistaz Mixwell has been elevated to a DJ and will make his debut on air on T-Bo Touch's Friday slot between 8pm and 9pm.

Madumo has taken over from KG Moeketsi, who has left the station to join radio 2000, another SABC station that has also seen other major changes. Also leaving the popular station in April are Shereez Govender and breakfast show newsreader Florence Leotaoba.

Sentle Lehoko will take over Shereez's 6am to 10am Saturday breakfast slot and her Sunday 9pm to midnight show.

Refiloe Mphakanyane joins the weekday breakfast team as a commentator and takes over the news reading duties.

The core weekday primetime line-up remains unchanged.

Meanwhile, Ukhozi has replaced S'bu Leope, who left the station after a brief season, with Linda Sibiya.
