Joyous Celebration's Easter concert at the South African State Theatre, Pretoria, was a fulfilling event.

Audiences had the opportunity to gain spiritual upliftment for four days. The concert started on Thursday night on a high note, with the audience hungry for good music.

With the venue packed to capacity music lovers were entertained and blessed. In its 12th year, Joyous Celebration continues with its success and to entertain music lovers.

As usual the colourful stage design, glamorous costumes and choreography completed the package.

Famous for its soothing and well-composed music, Joyous Celebration sent the audience into a frenzy.

Talented soloists such as Sabatha Masoka and Ntokozo Mbambo, among others, added magnificence to the show. Mbambo, who has been with the show for many years, is one of the most talented musicians in South Africa.

Other musicians who shone were Nkanyiso Bhengu and Jabu Hlongwane.

The show, which was made possible by Sowetan, Sunday World and Old Mutual, ended on Sunday.

The group will continue with its tour on May 2 and 3 at the Christian Centre, East London and on May 31 at Durban's ICC Arena before moving to the Grand West Arena, Cape Town, on June 28.
