Ajax Cape Town's coach, Craig Roslee, pictured, is optimistic that his side will go through to the next round of the CAF African Confederations Cup secong-leg encounter against Anse Reunion of the Seychelles next month.

Rosslee was speaking after Ajax beat Anse Reunion 1-0 in the first leg at Athlone Stadium in Cape Town on Sunday.

Roslee revealed that his team will take a break becausethe Nedbank Cup last-16 games are playing around the country and Ajax were booted out by Kaizer Chiefs in Durban two weeks ago.

Roslee said the break will give his team enough time to rest and prepare for the tough league fixtures and also their secnond leg trip to the Seychelles.

"The second leg against Anse Reunion in the Seychelles will give my players an opportunity to prove that they are ready for the remaining tough league games."

Coach of the visiting side, Voy O' Gordojevic, is also confident that his lads will go through the next stage of the African Cup Winners Cup at the expense of Ajax.

"We saw everything today(Sunday) and let me warn Ajax that in the Seychelles we will show them no mercy and tear them apart. We will reverse their 1-0 lead easily," warned O' Gordojevic.

The Urban Warriors registered their solitary goal of the game through Granwald Scott in the 16th minute.
