Mbabane Highlanders will meet city rivals Mbabane Swallows hoping to consolidate their lead on top of the Swaziland MTN Premiership log.

The derby, which has gripped the Land of the Pineapples, will be played tomorrow at the Somhlolo National Stadium.

Kick off is at 3:45pm.

Highlanders lead the 12 teams in the MTN League with 34 points after 15 games while Swallows are perched on position four with 24 points after the same number of games.

Young Buffaloes, who visited Manzini Sundowns yesterday (today) are in position two with 25 points after 15 games.

The Francis Banda-led side, Highlanders, come into tomorrow's encounter looking to make it a double after winning 1-0 in the first round a late minute goal by Mfanfikile Ndzimandze at the Trade Fair Ground.

Dumisani Sibandze, Highlanders communication officer, said they want to maintain their reputation in Swazi football at the expense of Swallows.

"Traditionally we are the kings of Swazi football and we want to maintain that at the expense of Swallows by slugging them. We want the points at stake to extend our lead on top of the log," he said.

Quoted in the Swazi media Swallows' coach Nyanga Hlophe said this would be their chance for revenge.

"It's a tough clash, but we'll be going out to do our best because we lost to Highlanders in the first round. We need to do our home work this time round and will fight to the bitter end.

"Our supporters must not despair but must come in their numbers to rally behind the team at this crucial game. The players are willing to fight and we're hoping for the best," he said.
