After standing trial for almost two years controversial reflexologist Hilda Khoza will have to wait another month before her case is over.
The state was due to close its case this week but the matter was postponed to April 22 because the court was fully booked until then.
Khoza appeared in the Johannesburg magistrate's court yesterday on more than 366 charges, including defrauding medical aid schemes.
Khoza, 40, made headlines in 2001 when she infamously claimed there was nothing wrong with 12-year-old Aids activist Nkosi Johnson a day before he died of Aids.
She said then that Johnson was healthy enough to attend school and that his foster mother, Gail Johnson, was keeping him at home in the hope of attracting more donations.
Khoza also said that she had diagnosed Nkosi with constipation and had cured him with Chinese medicine. Nkosi died the next day.
She made news again in 2005 when she was convicted of assault after she attacked a doctor at her practice in Railway Street, Germiston. The assault happened after she was found touting for patients outside the doctor's consulting rooms, claiming she could cure Aids.
Among 366 charges Khoza is facing are 220 for using a false Medscheme practice number to defraud 20 medical aid schemes. She allegedly also used the name of a deceased physiotherapist and those of two homeopaths and a physiotherapist to submit false claims.
