After a shaky start to the Super 14 campaign, the Lions are determined to bounce back when they meet the Sharks at Ellis Park Stadium tomorrow at 5pm.

Out of four games, the Lions have won one and lost three and are 12th on the log.

But coach Eugene Eloff still believes in his squad and said "there is still room for improvement''.

"We have been in this position before and we know how to get out of it. We just need to do that,'' said Eloff. "I am happy that the spirit is high in the camp and the boys are well prepared to take on the Sharks tomorrow."

Sharks coach Dick Muir said they would not take the Lions lightly despite their unimpressive record.

" For us it is important to win this game in order to stay in the top four bracket until the end of the season,'' said Muir.

The unbeaten Sharks are second in the standings with 17 points from four games, two behind leaders Crusaders.
