Barbara Creecy, Gauteng MEC for sports, arts, culture and recreation, will deliver the keynote address at the launch of the Selope Thema Games in Springs on Saturday.

The launch will take place at Ziba Park, Kgaswane Street in KwaThema at 2pm.

The games is in honour of struggle icon Selope "VR'' Thema, after whom KwaThema township was named.
