Superintendent Abie Khoabane said the 55-year-old guard was outside his office when the men held him up on Monday.
They robbed employees of their cellphones, jewellery and cash - all worth R40000 - before driving off. No arrests have been made.
In another incident, this time in Middelburg on Monday evening, a 34-year-old man was robbed of his cellphone and the R100000 he was counting on his farm, Rondebosch, when he was accosted by an armed man. - Sapa
