Athletics Gauteng North will resume their athletics programme on Saturday, starting with a junior track and field meeting .
The meeting takes place at Pilditch stadium in Tshwane and will mainly feature Under-17 and Under- 20 athletes.
The region had, for the past couple of weeks, put their programme on hold, due to Athletics South Africa's Yellow Pages series.
"The race on Saturday is to choose a team that will represent us at the national championships next month in Polokwane," said AGN development officer Itumeleng Moloto.
He said races such as these are developmental, and encourage youngsters to take advantage of opportunities presented to them.
