LSS punted to do well in CT

Jimmy Ngobeni, Limpopo School Sports (LSS) spokesman, reckons they have assembled a team that will make the province proud at the national athletics events this year.

Ngobeni was speaking to Sowetan after the two-day provincial championships at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane at the weekend.

The primary schools' national event will take place in Cape Town on dates still to be confirmed next month.

The secondary schools' championships are billed for Rustenburg, North West, from March 26 to 28.

To display a high level of the standard and competition, the tables turned around from top to bottom on the district performances in the Limpopo event.
