Mlaba, 40, the former Amazulu and Bafana Bafana winger was admitted in hospital after he had complained of chest pains last week.
Mlaba died after he had joined the KwaZulu-Natal legends to develop talent among the youth in the province.
The pacey Mlaba will be remembered for his blistering runs.
He will be buried on Saturday after a service at his home in Molweni outside Pinetown. - Mhlaba Memela
