The 1-0 win changes nothing though, since Stars advance to the next step having wrapped things up in Rustenburg two weeks ago.
Tycoons coach Miguel Gamondi took a rather threadbare team to Maseru, with the likes of Phumudzo Manenzhe, Michael Khaile, Lefa Mogaila and striker Luis Renteria rested for league action.
Gamondi admitted the artificial pitch they played on was a huge factor, but refused to make excuses for the defeat.
