I watched the Stars of Mzansi Awards on Friday night and I must say once again the need to educate our people was demonstrated.
My impression was that the overall winner/s must be someone who hoisted the South African flag high in the past year, someone who achieved something remarkable, a star that shone brighter than others. I believe in any other normal event Bryan Habana would have won hands down. For heaven's sake, the guy was not only part of the rugby World Cup team, he was voted world player of the year.
