Free State rivalry a worry

The soccer-loving Eastern Free State fans are bothered by the rivalry between two former colleagues at Free State Stars.

Jabu Khumalo of African Warriors was once loved and respected as a fiery Stars PRO who attracted support to the team in troubled times with his oratory skills, which reminded one of Winston Churchill's mastery of the spoken word. The sudden turn of events is therefore disturbing.

Mike Mokoena, Stars' boss, is equally likeable in social circles. He wears the crown of the first to bring professional soccer to mountainous QwaQwa, with few giving him a chance of survival in the tough as nails professional soccer league.

He is affectionately known locally.

It's about time the two buried the hatchet.

Competition does not necessarily imply enmity.

Excel on the field of play to win support and spare each other nasty words you may find not easy to withdraw.
