Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard was probably hoping he would wake up on Sunday morning back at the top of La Liga but the Catalans' 4-2 loss at Atletico Madrid on Saturday put paid to those dreams.

Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard was probably hoping he would wake up on Sunday morning back at the top of La Liga but the Catalans' 4-2 loss at Atletico Madrid on Saturday put paid to those dreams.

Instead, after crashing to their first defeat of the year in any competition, Barca now find themselves five points behind bitter rivals Real Madrid after the reigning Spanish champions won 3-2 at Recreativo Huelva.

Elsewhere, Deportivo Coruna 2 beat Sevilla 1.
