While Platinum Stars are likely to adopt a cautious approach when they meet Lesotho Correctional Services in an African Champions League match at Maseru Stadium on Sunday, the reality is that all they need from the away leg is a draw.
Word from their camp is that players with minor knocks will not make the trip to Maseru and will be rested.
The Tycoons' general manager, Thamaga Mokgopi, said this decision did not mean that they were underestimating their opponents.
When they hosted "Masheshena" in Rustenburg two weeks ago in the first leg, Stars ensured they put the result beyond their opponents' reach, and were so dominant that they scored three goals in just three minutes. The final score was 4-0.
Mokgopi identified several opposition players, particularly left winger Pholo Mafatlane and striker Kotlosiso Mthonyane, as the sharpest from what they saw.
"From our camp, Stanley Kgatla and Koketso Mmotong, who was among the scorers last time, are back.
"We are a little worried about defender George Mofokeng who sustained a cut on his head in the Cosmos match when he collided with a teammate on Wednesday. Other than that, everything is as it should be," Mokgopi said.
Also on the African Champions League front, Mamelodi Sundowns will be doing battle against Zanzibar champions Miemba SC at Loftus.
The morale at Chloorkop can't be very high because Sundowns have been losing game after game in the domestic league.
The last game they won was against the same team two weeks ago, when Surprise Moriri scored their solitary goal.
Since it appears that Sundowns are incapable of winning against any local team, perhaps Trott Moloto's side will finally get their winning form back in this continental clash.
This match might see the return of Vuyo Mere and Benson Mhlongo, who were rested during the midweek match against Moroka Swallows and though they were on the losing side, performances from players like Christopher Makhoba and Brent Carelse would at least have pleased Moloto.
Both matches kickoff at 3.30pm.
