What do countries that are not part of a continental football tournament get up to during or just after the event?
There are a number of things you might say, with giving the players a break being uppermost in most people's minds. Not so for southern Africa's Mozambique, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland.
While everybody was going crazy about the Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana, these countries organised their own Four Nations Cup in Swaziland.
Action from this reportedly exciting tourney will be on view for soccer enthusiasts when highlights are flighted by the African Soccer Television show on SABC Sport's Laduma programme on Sunday.
The Somhlolo National Stadium in Lobamba was all action, first hosting the game between a Mozambique IX that lost 1-0 to Lesotho, while Isihlangu (Swaziland) were given a 4-1 kick by a rampant Botswana in the second game.
Botswana took their good form into the final, which they won 1-0 against Mozambique IX.
African champions Etoile du Sahel beat rivals CS Sfaxien 2-1 to lift the CAF Super Cup on Saturday at the El-Menzah Stadium in Rades.
A brace from young striker Armine Chermiti aided Etoile to their Super Cup title and further confirmed their status as the continent's foremost club.
Chermiti, voted Tunisia's best footballer of 2007 on Friday, was sent off in the second half after a late challenge on a Sfaxien midfielder, but the Sousse based side managed to hold onto the one-goal lead.
Sfaxien drew level after 28 minutes through Ghanaian-born striker Opoku Agyemang, who terrorised the Etoile defence on several occasions.
Other highlights include a player profile of Junior Agogo, the Ghanaian international who plays for Bastia FC in France.
The Moroccan Super League featured Raja Club Athletic's 1-all draw with OCS Olympique de Safi.
