Spokesman Captain Owen Mlumbi said in the early hours of yesterday morning, three men overpowered security guards at Green Acres.
"Police were called in and on arrival the suspects started shooting at them. Two men fled and one was found hiding behind garden furniture," he said.
Police found in his possession an unlicensed firearm with three rounds.
The suspect will appear in the Boksburg magistrate's court shortly on a charge of attempted murder. - Sapa
