Indira "Siya" Mabhele does not follow soccer, but she is on cloud nine because she will watch the historic 2010 World Cup final match at Soccer City on July 11.

The Centurion-based Mabhele is one of the lucky 500 First National Bank customers who have won tickets to watch the tournament with their partners.

The giant South African banking institution, the official supporter of the World Cup, has been running a ticket promotion for its staff and customers.

"I still can't believe I have won two tickets to watch the World Cup final. I don't follow soccer but the buzz word in South Africa now is the World Cup," said Mabhele.

"I think one has to start developing interest in the game - my friends always tell me that the atmosphere is great at the stadiums."

The ticket promotion was launched last August to distribute 16 000 match tickets for next year's Confederations Cup and the World Cup to qualifying customers.

It comprises 12 quarterly draws - conducted between now and April 2010 - to select winners of double match tickets.

Official tickets are not yet physically available, but the winners get personalised vouchers until they get their hands on the actual tickets in 2010.
