Last week we were at one of our drinking joints near the Market Theatre.

Apart from some inflated prizes on snacks and beers it turned out to be a worthwhile adventure.

What with those attention-seeking groupies dominating the area.

One of the Usuzwile Mkhozi detectives overheard this:

"Hey,Buddy, I believe you have also gone through the 'comic dictionary', is that a fact?"

"Try me!"

"Alcohol?"

"A liquid good for preserving everything except secrets."

"Armour?"

"Clothing worn by someone whose tailor is a blacksmith."

"Chicken?"

"A creature you eat before its born and after its dead."

"Mother-in-law?"

"A woman who destroys her son-in-laws' peace of mind by giving him a pice of her's."

"Vacuum cleaner?"

"A broom with a stomach."
