The bail application of the six people accused of murdering and robbing Muldersdrift conservationist, Frans Richter, was postponed in the Krugersdorp magistrates' court yesterday.

The case was postponed until tomorrow because one of the lawyers for the accused failed to arrive at court. Last month the court heard that one of the accused, Celiwe Mbokazi, stood to inherit R1million from Richter.

Mbokazi was Richter's housekeeper and according to the police, she was promised R1million in his will. Richter was shot dead on his Heia Safari Ranch, north of Krugersdorp, at the end of November last year.

Mbokazi and five men are accused of planning and executing the murder. - Sapa
