With the second round campaign well on track, pressure is now mounting on Jomo Cosmos to start winning or else they will find themselves in the First Division.

Languishing at the bottom of the log, Ezenkosi take a short trip to Atteridgeville tomorrow for a Premiership date with high-riding SuperSport United.

The match takes place at Super Stadium at 7.30pm.

Cosmos will be hoping for a second win over Matsantsantsa a Pitori this season, after they beat them 2-1 in the first round.

"We are playing well at the moment. It's too early to start talking about relegation," said Andrew Rabutla, Cosmos' manager yesterday.

"It's a matter of days before we move up the ladder on the log. We are very confident that we will soon turn the corner.

"The game against United will be a tough one because those guys are playing well lately under Gavin Hunt as coach.

"They deserve to be second on the log," said Rabutla.

He said that Lucky Mhlathi and Lethola Mofokeng were back from a one-match suspension.

But Burundian central defender Valery Nahayo is still out after being red-carded in their 2-0 defeat by Bidvest Wits last Wednesday.

David Skhosana, United's spokesman, said: "We watched Cosmos when they played to a goalless draw against Kaizer Chiefs, they played well and were unlucky not to get a goal.

"We are are going all out for a win, though it won't be easy because Cosmos also need the three points too to move away from the bottom of the log."

Daine Klate, who scored the only goal in United's win over Thanda Royal Zulu at the weekend, will need special attention from Morgan Gould and company.

Still on Royal, they will be away to log leaders Ajax Cape Town at Athlone Stadium tomorrow, also starting at 7.30pm.

Credit must go to Craig Rosslee, who has transformed the Urban Warriors into championship material after being appointed coach in August.

Royal, with their firing squad led by Sergio Djiehoua, have also been doing well lately but they were stopped in their tracks by United.

Ajax have the likes of Bryce Moon and Sifiso Vilakazi who are capable of helping their side get a win to consolidate their top spot.
