The Jeppestown massacre trial judge yesterday dismissed the defence team's application for his recusal.

The Jeppestown massacre trial judge yesterday dismissed the defence team's application for his recusal.

Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng of the Johannesburg high court ruled against 11 accused who had applied for his recusal from presiding over their murder trial.

They had stated "reasonable apprehension of bias" as the main reason.

But, Judge Mokgoatlheng said the reasons the defence team had given were inadequate. - Dudu Busani.
